The Meyer Garage is now open for business on Broadway in Sheridan. Cars are stored by the day or month, and repair work is done by a competent man. Second-hand cars are sold on commission.
The local Carpenters’ Union, No. 1384, has taken steps which are directly in line with the most approved scheme for demonstrating patriotism. First, the union members have subscribed handsomely for Liberty bonds. Then the union has arranged to pay the dues, look after the benefits and generally care for the home interests of those members who go into active service.
The Sheridan Hide and Junk Co. will pay 18 cents a pound for green hides, 30 cents a pound for sheep pelts.
