A Look Back in Time: June 23, 1917

Monday is the last day of the great drive for the Red Cross national fund. Sheridan County’s total to noon today is over $38,000.

Ladies’ straw hats are $1.98, and ladies’ fancy trimmed hats $2.98 at Sheridan’s Golden Rule store. Also, ladies’ white wash skirts are $1.98.

Miss Eula Williams gave a dancing party tonight as a courtesy to her cousin, Miss Rosa Maye Kendrick, who will spend the greater part of the summer here in Sheridan.

Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Hartman have purchased the Mortensen home at 258 Sherman avenue and will move there the first part of the week.
