Mr. and Mrs. George W. Messick, accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Dean T. Waddell, and 14-month-old grandson, George Messick Waddell, returned this afternoon from a prolonged visit in the east and middle west. Mr. Messick said evidences of our state of war with Germany were very striking in New York.
Miss Florence Williams is quite ill with tonsilitis at the hospital. Miss Williams is a niece of Mrs. Anna B. Smith.
Savidge Brothers auto polo players are coming to Sheridan and will play on the ball park on July 8 at 3 p.m. The Savidge Brothers are a family of daredevils and guarantee to turn the cars over at least three times during the game.
