George Garrett’s Ford was stolen this morning from his ranch on Big Goose. The machine was taken from a few hundred feet of where he was sleeping. There was enough gas in the tank to take the vehicle about 60 miles.
United States Army Inspectors will inspect and buy horses and mules at the Burlington Stock Yards on Friday. The government needs stock very badly.
Miss Nancy Pearl Burns returned today from New York City, where she has been studying art.
Charles F. Heath and Laura Thompson were married Monday morning at the Methodist parsonage. The young couple left on the noon train for their homestead near Arvada.
