Owing to the present scarcity of water, due to the excessive demands during the recent hot spell, Sheridan’s city commissioners have decided to minimize street flushing. The only streets that will be flushed regularly are Main street and Broadway.
The local Red Cross chapter is making the first big shipment today to national headquarters. Contents of the four immense boxes include 21 suits of pajamas, two dozen hospital bed shirts, three dozen abdominal bandages, and a half-dozen each of linen tray cloths and linen napkins.
Henry Rasmussen is having a porch built in front of his hotel building in Ranchester. The building is 60 feet in length, and the porch is nine feet in width.
