The Sheridan Enterprise has been asked to be campaign manager for the “Our Boys in France Tobacco Fund” in Sheridan. The fund, which is organized under approval of the Secretary of War and the Secretary of the Navy, is to collect money to pay for tobacco for American soldiers and sailors on the front.
The Sheridan Fat Men have been challenged by the Fat Men of Buffalo to play three ball games for the benefit of the Red Cross Fund.
Riley Motor Co. will sell 10 cars at auction Saturday at the company’s garage opposite Carnegie Library. Vehicles to be sold include three Ford Touring Cars, a five-passenger 55-horsepower Buick, and a two-passenger Buick Speedster.
