It has been learned that, based on a population of just under 18,800, and discounting credits for men enlisted in the National Guard and the regular army, the number of men to be drafted for Sheridan County will be 43.

The recent registration of Sheridan County women shows a total of 358 have signed the Hoover food pledge, and 331 have signed for war service. Another registration will be held tomorrow.
