Mrs. Alice D. Coffeen entertained Sen. Martin Bailey of Illinois and his daughter, Helen, at the Crescent last evening. Also present were Dr. Buffum and Harriet and Miss Susan Overton.
Three long trains of yellow cars, bearing the great Hagenbeck-Wallace shows, one of the greatest circus organizations in the world, arrived in Sheridan last night. In addition to the parade shortly before noon today, and the performance this afternoon, another exhibition will be given tonight.
Dr. I.P. Hayes is out of town from now to Aug. 3.
