Eight more men have been exempted or discharged from military service by the District Board in Sheridan County on account of dependent relatives.
The sheriff is looking for a man who robbed and held up Walter Smith of Ulm last evening. The man is believed to have made his escape on a freight train. No trace of him had been found as of noon today.
Another brazen automobile robbery took place last night, and so far no trace has been discovered of the thieves. Mr. W.H. Pate left his Ford in front of the Citizens State Bank about 10:30, and was away for a few minutes. When he returned, the machine was gone.
