In future, the Red Cross work room at the post office building in Sheridan will be open on Wednesdays as well as Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The Golden Rule store is having an August clearance of ladies’ hats. Any summer hat in the store, values up to $7.98, is on sale for $1. Also, organdies up to 55 cents in value, are on sale for 15 cents a yard.
Today and tomorrow, admission prices at the Orpheum theater are 25, 50 and 75 cents for the night, 25 and 50 cents for the matinee.
A special musical program will be featured at the Methodist church tonight.
