A Look Back in Time: Sept. 5, 1917

Peter Kooi and M.F. Peltier, presidents respectively of the Kooi and Monarch coal companies of Sheridan County, left this afternoon for Washington D.C. to represent the coal operators of this district regarding the new schedule of prices in the food and supply control bill.

Mrs. E.M. Cross left this afternoon for the PK ranch where she will join her husband. Dean and Mrs. Cross will return to Sheridan during the early part of next week and will be in the Massey home.

H.E. Fryberger and D.P.B. Marshal returned last night from a business trip to Lovell.

E.E. Lonabaugh is in Basin today, and will be in Worland Thursday and Friday on business.
