Four large packing cases were sent to Denver from the Red Cross work rooms this week, which is one packing case more than was sent at the same time last month. Besides the work room and gauze room, the knitting room is now a very prominent feature in the Red Cross work, and a large number of woolen socks were sent in the last consignment.

Mrs. Edwin Lord was hostess at a luncheon at 1 o’clock today in honor of Miss Eleanor Lord, who will leave in the near future to attend school in the East.
