Sprinkling has been discontinued on all of West Works and Loucks streets at the request of the Warren Construction Company. The company pointed out that it’s of the greatest importance that the sand on top of the paving be given a chance to wear into and become part of the street paving.
S.D. Canfield, who has been suffering from a slight attack of tonsilitis, is reported to be somewhat better today.
The dance advertised to be given at Banner on Oct. 6 has been indefinitely postponed in order to not conflict with the dance to be given on the same date in honor of the departing soldiers.
