The Local Board has received a letter from William R. Lowe, who should have gone with the last contingent of the National Army, and who failed to appear. Mr. Lowe says he has been in the State Hospital in Sheridan for nearly a month with a wound in his foot caused by an accident with a gun.
C.K. Hayden and A.L. Cummings have returned from a two days’ stay at the Bonham cabin in the Big Horns. They report a heavy snow storm in the mountains Sunday that lasted from 7 o’clock in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.
The Idlewild Cafe will serve baked beans and hot corn bread from 11:30 to 2 o’clock tomorrow.
