The Sheridan County Liberty Loan campaign got under way in fine style with a luncheon at noon today at the Congregational Church. The drive opened with $127,000 already subscribed. Sheridan County’s apportionment is $400,000.

Walter Parker, the popular young postal clerk, has received an appointment in the Field Post Office service. He leaves today for Washington, from which point he will go to France.

Start a savings account at Sheridan’s First National Bank. They pay 4 percent interest.

James Klindt is offering a seven-room strictly modern house on two fine lots, with heat, bath and three rooms in the basement for just over $3,100.
