The mass meeting held in the Orpheum last night for the purpose of inaugurating the second Liberty Loan campaign in Sheridan was a great success. Before the meeting, about 60 members of the Loyalty League marched in a body to the theater.
The ministers and the heads of the various women’s organizations will meet tonight in the Food Administrator’s office at Sheridan’s City Hall. The meeting is to appoint committees and workers for the city for the forthcoming pledge card campaign.
F.I. Reed and James Birchby returned yesterday from a trip through the Basin country and to Casper.
W.M. Bushnell has 220 boxes of big Alberta peaches for sale at $2 per bushel.
