Camplin swept yesterday’s primaries in the mayor’s race, with more than 760 votes. He will advance to the general election along with Tynan, who received just over 350 votes. Loucks, Birkhaeuser, Morris and Holden will advance in the races for city commissioners. Only 55.5 percent of the possible votes were cast in the elections.
A one-cent sale starts tomorrow at the Brown Drug Company and will last through the end of the week. During the sale, one cent will in many cases have the buying power of one dollar.
