An Austrian was committed to the Sheridan County jail today, under $10,000 bond, after making seditious speeches around Dietz and attempting to induce men there to evade the draft. He will be tried before the federal court in Cheyenne in November for violation of the Espionage Act.

The 300 pupils of the John E. Taylor School subscribed today for a $50 Liberty Bond.

Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Goforth returned home last night. Mr. Goforth has been taking treatments at Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Goforth visited realatives at Urbana, Ill., which is her old home.

Women’s fur coats will be on sale tomorrow and Saturday at Reed’s, priced from $49 to $200.
