According to the report of the Sheridan Public Schools for the period ending Nov. 23, there are now 1,663 pupils enrolled, 40 more than this time last year. Average attendance for the period was more than 97 percent, compared to just over 95 percent last year.

A.H. Ohlseen, chief clerk to Fuel Administrator Kendall, is in Sheridan inquiring as to the local coal situation. Yesterday, Mr. Ohlseen interviewed a number of the dealers, and today he’s out at the mines.

Choice fancy dressed turkeys are 37 cents a pound at The Central Market. Fancy dressed geese and ducks are 25 cents a pound.
