A Look Back in Time: Jan. 22, 1918

Two Sheridan men are among those injured in a derailment of Train No. 42 that occurred at 5:20 last night about one and a half miles west of Gillette. The accident is thought to have been due to a broken rail. Included among the injured were J.C. Blanchard and U.A.C. Thomas, both of Sheridan.

C.C. Wilson is in Sheridan from Dayton for a few days.

A package of cheese is 12 cents and a box of chili powder 6 cents at the Basket store.

Misses’ and small women’s winter coats are $5.95 at Reed’s.
