Twenty-five experienced mechanics and skilled workmen from Sheridan County have applied as volunteers for employment in the California and Puget Sounds shipyards as a result of the campaign being conducted this week by the Four-Minute Men.
The Woman’s Club of Big Horn held their annual banquet at the home of Mrs. M.W. Hurlbutt. Twenty members and guests attended, and the meal was followed by a musical and literary program. Nearly all the guests, as well as members, took part.
D.H. Reed of Sheridan is registered at the Crescent hotel.
W.R. Barker of Banner is stopping in Sheridan for several days.
