Dr. Frederick A. Cook, the famous explorer of polar regions and author of quite a few books treating mostly of Arctic subjects, is in Sheridan for a few days. He’s staying at the Sheridan Inn.
Senator John B. Kendrick will speak tonight at the Congregational church. He expects to be in Sheridan for a few days and will speak at a Red Cross benefit at the Orpheum theater on Wednesday.
Special lots of embroidery and lace are priced from 3 to 25 cents a yard in the basement of Stevens, Fryberger & Company, Sheridan’s New York Store.
The Sheridan Sugar Company is already making extensive preparations for the coming season.
