Master Carl Hammontree entertained a number of little friends yesterday from 4 until 6 in honor of his sixth birthday. A three-course luncheon was served, and everyone had a good time.
The D.A.R. will meet tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 with Mrs. Rosa B. Lord at the Hopkins apartments. Mrs. John Telaader will conduct a discussion of “Current Events.”
Yesterday afternoon was a busy day in the police court, with some 11 cases for trial. Commissioner W.G. Birkhauser presided as police judge in the absence of Judge F.W. Byrd.
