E.G. Ogburn, superintendent of the Sheridan sugar factory, says the outlook for the coming campaign is very favorable, with 800 acres already secured in the immediate vicinity of Sheridan, 1,500 on Clear Creek and about 1,000 acres at Hardin, Mont. Total acreage will be about 4,000.
Mrs. Horatio Burns of Sheridan has been chosen chairman of Sheridan County for the coming Liberty Loans campaign to be launched on April 6.
Three more men under the draft age have taken advantage of the voluntary enlistments and have joined the Coast Artillery.
