Sheridan’s local board has received instructions to send another 25 men for training about April 26. Only men physically qualified will be inducted into the army for general service.
Seven persons appeared in police court this morning to answer charges that they left their cars stand on Main street for more than 10 minutes, which is the time limit for a car to be left there. Police have been warning car owners for the past two weeks concerning this violation of the ordinance.
Food Administrator T.C. Diers left this afternoon on No. 41 for Lovell and Worland to work on increased land acreage for sugar beets. He expects to return to Sheridan next Friday.
