W.L. Prentiss, who for several years has been connected with the Burn Cleuch Dairy as a half-owner, has retired from the dairy business. He left this afternoon for Portland, Ore., where he will take charge of the purchasing department of the Union Meat Company.

Robert W. Patrick, a celebrated lawyer of Omaha, arrived in Sheridan yesterday for a short visit with his brother, John Patrick. He left for the ranch this afternoon.

The gauze room section of the Red Cross in Sheridan is sending out an urgent appeal for more workers. They need at least 50 women in addition to those already employed there.
