Ralph H. Goebel and George Street have enlisted in the army. They left today on No. 42 for Fort Logan. Goebel enlisted in the medical department and Street in the quartermaster department.
Carl Smith, a rancher near Clearmont, is in Sheridan attending to various business matters.
Mrs. C.B. Godwin was hostess at her home on Banner street of the Daughters of the American Revolution meeting this afternoon.
Lettuce is 7 cents a head, and six dill pickles 11 cents at The Basket Store. Large cans of apples are 12 cents, and whole codfish is 19 cents a pound.
