The children of Monarch recently gave a program for the benefit of the Red Cross, and it was most successful in every respect. After a parade led by the band, the children made four-minute speeches on the Liberty Loan. Numerous posters and banners were in evidence that the children had made themselves.
C.E. Garretson, who enlisted in Sheridan last December, writes relatives that he has been promoted to the rank of sergeant.
G.G. Rudston is in Sheridan from the Horse Shoe Ranch.
Mr. and Mrs. John Patrick of the P-K Ranch are spending a few days in town.
