A Look Back in Time: May 9, 1918

Miss Henrietta Kolshorn of the State University will give a patriotic talk at the Linden Auditorium at 7:30 tonight. She will discuss the necessity of simplifying dress during war times, and the utilization of materials.

Postmaster S.D. Canfield said this morning that a rural mail carrier is badly needed at the local office.

The Taylor P.T.A. Will elect officers during a meeting tomorrow night. A large attendance is desired.

Sheridan county received a Liberty Loan honor flag today, in recognition of the county having oversubscribed the Liberty Loan.
