Fred W. Cooper, superintendent of the state fish hatchery in Story, is to be forced to resign his office because of unwarranted and scurrilous remarks he is alleged to have made regarding the American Red Cross and alleged remarks reflecting upon America’s entrance into the war.
At the last special meeting of the county commissioners, the commissioners authorized Mr. Brundage to enter into a contract with the Sheridan Sugar company for construction of the Sheridan-Big Horn valley highway. The sugar company agreed to pay 25 percent of the $42,000 cost.
F.L. Spaulding and wife arrived in Sheridan today from Birney, Montana.
