The Red Cross campaign is virtually finished, and Sheridan county went over the top with flying colors, having subscribed nearly $53,600. A few communities are yet to be heard from, so the grand total is expected to be $54,000.
J.B. Moore, near Clearmont, has 40 acres of corn planted this spring. The corn is now well above ground and doing splendidly.
Robert Selway Jr. arrived in Sheridan yesterday afternoon to spend the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Selway. Robert Jr. has been attending the Kentucky Military Institute during the past school year.
