A Look Back in Time: May 30, 1918

Under auspices of the Grand Army of the Republic, Sheridan today paid tribute to the memory of soldiers who have left this earthly domain. National banners and a patriotic atmosphere were in evidence everywhere. Thousands of people lined the sidewalks to witness the big parade this morning.

Last night, Charles Smith of Wolf creek had a Dodge car stolen by joy riders. He had only purchased the car yesterday.

C.W. Thompson is in Sheridan from Clearmont, attending to business affairs.

T.E. Masters was a visitor in Sheridan yesterday from Ranchester.

Lt. G. Scales returned to Sheridan today on No. 41 from Richfield, Waco, Texas.
