The city council, meeting yesterday, passed an ordinance forbidding the furnishing of intoxicating or spiritous liquors to minors.

Sheridan will honor all the young men of Sheridan county who are to register for the selective draft in this city at a program tomorrow night in front of the city hall. The program will include the most interesting event ever witnessed by the people of Sheridan. German books will be burned in a mammoth bonfire. Every person should witness this spectacle, and it will be remembered for all time.

George Snyder left today on No. 42 for Fort Logan, Utah, having joined the quartermaster corps of the army at the local recruiting station.
