For the second consecutive day, Sheridan industries have been at a standstill while repairs are being made to the Sheridan County Electric company plant at Acme. Only for a few hours today has the company been able to furnish power, and this at intermittent periods.

J.L. Taylor of Kirby, Mont., is in Sheridan shopping.

Fred Wattenburg, Leonard Calanborn and Dick Forward were visitors to Sheridan yesterday from Big Horn.

Dr. William A. Steffen of Sheridan has received word from the war department that he has been commissioned a captain in the medical reserve corps and will probably be called for service within the next few weeks.
