The stage is set for one of the most notable conventions ever held in Wyoming – that of the First Biennial Convention of the Wyoming State Federation of Labor. The event will convene in the new Eagles Hall in Sheridan at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning.
L.H. Buchner, a conductor on the Burlington railroad in Sheridan, has been appointed by the governor as state labor commissioner. He succeeds Edward P. Taylor of Cheyenne.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wood are visitors in Sheridan from Buffalo.
Two liquor licenses were granted at the meeting of Sheridan’s city council this morning.
