The Eaton Brothers, of the well-known ranch bearing their name, have donated a knitting machine to the fire department after the city firemen announced their readiness to put in leisure moments knitting for the soldiers if someone would provide a machine.

About 60 members of the Boy Scouts were out for drill last night.

Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Sevey arrived on No. 41 yesterday from Arvada where Mr. Sevey was called on official business.
