Ambassador Gerard, who was our country’s representative at Berlin during the early stages of the war, passed through Sheridan yesterday on an eastbound train en route to Denver, where he was to deliver a Liberty Loan address last night.
Three marriage licenses have been issued from the office of the Sheridan county clerk. Licenses were issued to Charles Herbert Angle and Emma E. Rose, Rocco Romeo and Mary Macri and David E. Kendall and Fern V. Abel.
Miss Margie Wissler, formerly of Dayton, has received a government appointment at Washington D.C., and leaves on No. 42 today. She has been taking the summer course of war work at Spencer’s Business College in Sheridan.
