A Look Back in Time: Sept. 29, 1918

Dr. Ronald M. Donaldson of Boise, Idaho, linked patriotism and prohibition as running mates in this war period in a thrilling address tonight at the Congregational church in Sheridan.

Paving contractors took advantage of good weather today to grade for the paving on Residence Hill.

Herbert H. Bramel, a Sheridan boy who enlisted last November, has received a commission as first lieutenant and expects to go over soon. He has been sent to Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, for special training for service.

Lt. H.R. Leech of Sheridan, who was recently granted a commission in the remount service, is likely soon to be enroute for France.
