Two fatalities were reported as having occurred in Sheridan yesterday, resulting from influenza complications, and one Saturday afternoon, while two other deaths have been reported at other points in the county since noon Saturday.
A battery of four new tractors were drawn up on Works street alongside the big garage of the Riley Motor company yesterday morning. They had just come in from a Pontiac, Mich., factory as the first of two carloads for the Sheridan district.
After the recent rains, the roads in Sheridan county dried in a rough condition, and automobile drivers are finding that rural travel has been rendered a matter of considerable physical exertion.
