According to the canvas completed yesterday afternoon by County Clerk Withrow and his assistants, nearly 3,600 votes were cast in Sheridan County in the recent election.
The Sheridan Company of Wyoming House Guards will meet at 7:30 o’clock tonight at the old city hall for muster. Although the war in Europe is over, it is believed there may yet be much work for the home guards to do here.
Sheridan did not complete the pleasure of celebrating the end of the war until long after midnight last night. More explosives were fired off during the night in one hour than were fired during the entire of the last Fourth of July.
