About 23 new cases for collection of debts have been filed in Justice Hoop’s court, which is more than twice the usual number.

Mayor and Mrs. Camplin received cable information yesterday that their son, Capt. Harry D. Camplin, has safely landed overseas. Capt. Camplin is in command of the 421st telephone battalion.

District Court Clerk George Nottingham was limpingly on duty in his office yesterday after an absence since the 8th. He has been giving some attention to his ranch on Powder river, 18 miles above Arvada, where he expects to reside after his term of office closes in January.
