Most of the morning session of the city council was consumed in a discussion of an application of the Warren company for an extension of time to complete the paving on Residence hill. Under the contract entered into on June 24, paving was to have been completed by Dec. 1, which was yesterday.
No new cases of influenza were reported to the county health officer yesterday. However, 10 new cases were reported on the previous day.
Sheriff Mossberg left today for Sherman, Texas, after L.D. Ward, who’s wanted in Sheridan for lifting a certified check from the pocket of his roommate at a hotel.
