Nearly 3.2 million tons of coal have been mined this year in the northern Wyoming district. Of that, nearly 2 million tons have come from Sheridan county.
District court will open for the term in Sheridan next Monday with a rather extensive docket on both the civil and criminal sides.
George W. Perry was chosen new chairman of the Sheridan County Chapter of the Red Cross in the annual meeting held yesterday. Nearly 50 people were in attendance.
Henry Davis, against whom a complaint for wife desertion was filed in district court last month, was arrested at Dayton Monday. Negotiations are in progress today looking for a settlement of the family difficulty.
