Pupils of the John S. Taylor school have “adopted” a little French girl whose father was killed in the world war. The school children reached this decision voluntarily yesterday afternoon.

The shop windows along Main street are dressed in holiday attire and are attracting much attention from both young and old. Many of the displays are artistic in arrangement and indicate the presence of stock of an unusual and varied selection.

Al Ponak, a miner at the Model mine, and Miss Ailette Sharp were married quietly at Billings yesterday. They came to Sheridan yesterday afternoon and took possession of an apartment the groom had previously engaged on the second floor of the Rialto.
