An agreement has been reached between the miners in the Sheridan district and the mine operators regarding who will place powder in the mines. The miners insisted they should not be required to carry the powder into the mines, and the companies have agreed to place the powder in the mines themselves.
Two men pleaded guilty in the court of Justice Hoops this morning to a charge of disturbing the peace and were fined $10 each. The incident happened on Nov. 22.
The family of Mr. L.C. Booth of 124 Coffeen avenue have moved to Sumner street. They’re settled in the Aber residence formerly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. George L. McFarland and family.
