The Sheridan County Medical Society late tonight wired Gov. Carey and the Sheridan county delegation asking that every effort be made to defeat the bill before the senate providing for the sale of the state hospitals. The telegram points out that the Sheridan branch of the state hospital is virtually self-sustaining.

Aubrey Dodge Crawford, who was one of the boys engaged in the most desperate of the fighting at the Argonne forest, returned to Sheridan tonight.

The Cheese and Cracker Club, instead of holding its regular meeting this past Thursday afternoon, will meet next Thursday night at the home of Mrs. J.D. Gillespie.
