The senate bill authorizing the state to dispose of the state hospitals, including the one in Sheridan, has been tabled by the house. Action is due in part to the influence of Mrs. Peter Kooi of Sheridan, who interviewed each representative on the bill, and pointed out, in convincing terms, the reason why the measure should be killed.
Steps are being taken to harmonize and secure co-ordination between the movement for organization of the local branch of the YMCA and that for the establishment of a Young Men’s club organization in Sheridan.
Mrs. Paul Freeman, wife of the superintendent of the Wyoming railway, is in Sheridan from Buffalo today.
