With the consummation of the purchase by the E.A.Whitney estate of the Edelman corner at Main and Loucks street for $51,000, announcement was made this morning of the plan to construct a five-story fireproof bank and office building. The building will cost about $200,000 and will be the largest and most modern building in the state.

C.M. June of the Wyoming Public Service Commission is making a personal investigation of the city of Sheridan’s water system following a hearing yesterday in which the city asked for permission to readjust its water rates and to install meters. The matter will be taken before the state commission, which will make a decision in a few weeks.
