Mrs. Cora A. Lang of Clearmont died this morning very suddenly at the home of Mrs. Kendall on West Works street. She had been at the hospital and returned last Thursday. Her son, Frank Lang, died two weeks ago.
Dr. and Mrs. C.L. Hopkins are entertaining 16 friends at cards tonight.
Mr. and Mrs. P.F. Buckle are leaving tomorrow for an extended trip to New York and other eastern points.
Dr. I.P. Hayes and C.W. Garbutt were elected yesterday to the school board of District No. 7 in the annual school meeting. Just over 200 votes were cast in the election.
