Justice Hoop dismissed charges against a prominent Sheridan osteopath this afternoon, that he had committed criminal assault against a 15-year-old girl, but within an hour, a new charge was filed against him in district court.

Winterling & Davis expects a load of new Nash cars this week. The dealers are next door to the Orpheum Theatre.

In one of the largest cattle sales reported here, H. H. Brown has bought 1,200 head of cows and calves and 700 yearling heifers from Doc Spear. The amount paid isn’t stated, but it’s in the neighborhood of $200,000 or more.

Mrs. C. H. Parmalee and Mrs. Himes entertained at a 1 o’clock luncheon yesterday.
